On Thursday 9th September 2010, the Mina UK boutique opened it's doors for a V.I.P, invitation only party, giving press and celebrities the chance to visit us in exclusive privacy. At 7.00pm sharp, paparazzi began to spread across the path outside our Great Titchfield store, along with the arrival of fashion photographers and the first in a long line of visitors. Guests such as Melanie Blatt, Olivia Inge and Preeya Kalidas casually strolled around the building, selecting pieces from the A/W collection, whilst nibbling on salmon, steak and lemon tart canapes. After shopping, they joined the party downstairs, dancing to the funky sounds of the evening's DJs, Sunday Girl and Queens Of Noize, whilst basking in the laid back atmosphere and indulging in the mouth-watering selection of cocktails. Lush Cosmetics were on hand to give skincare advice and suggestions, pampering the stars with their luxurious soaps and moisturisers. Press, including Elle, Grazia and I-D Magazine, crowded round to take pictures of the stunning clothes and breathtaking surroundings, perfectly capturing the essense of the evening. As the party ended at 11.00pm, guests left with fabulous goodie bags, jam packed with gifts from our friends at Tigi, Eyeko, Batiste, Simply Beautiful and of course, Lush Cosmetics.
The Mina UK girls then carried on the party and headed to the famous Boujis club in Kensington, where they were greeted by free bottles of vodka and V.I.P table service...The perfect end to a perfect evening!

When the decision was made to open our debut Mina UK stand-alone boutique, there was no doubt in our minds that the launch party would be one to remember!
On Thursday 29th July 2010, we opened our doors to the public for the very first time, inviting shoppers to stroll around our plush, open-plan store and browse through current AW collections in an exciting yet relaxed atmosphere.
Our friend at Lush Cosmetics and Benefit set up stands downstairs, where they pampered ladies with facial treatments, hand massages and make-overs throughout the evening.
Guests sipped wine and beer from the free bar, and indulged in luxurious cupcakes from ELLA's. Music was played, prizes were won and photos were taken, capturing the fun for us to cherish.
Now we're just wishing we could do it all over again...

| When the trade show season begins, there is always an air of excitement about Mode Fabriek...Situated in the uber-cool city of Amsterdam, this show is alive with vibrant brands and up-and-coming labels for those in the fashion industry to browse. This year, the Mina UK stand was, as always, a vintage treat for visitors, with stunning furniture and a truly unique vibe. Guests drank wine whilst browsing the new season collections, placing forward orders to ensure they didn't miss out on their share of Mina. |

As the new season begins to unfold, press and fashion critics are queuing up to get their hands on the latest Mina pieces, already predicting best sellers and carefully selecting favourites to feature in their publications. July sees the launch of the first Autumn edition of Drapers magazine, focusing their sights on the future hits of the chilly days to come. Prior to the magazine release, the fashion editors at Drapers sent us a sneak-peak of what's to come, using 3 Mina dresses throughout the issue. One of the pieces chosen was the best selling Monaco Dress from SS10, and we adore the stunning setting of the photograph. A beautiful finale to our Summer publicity.

With Summer, comes festivals...Naturally! This year, Mina UK was invited to the V.I.P greenroom at the Hyde Park Wireless festival, where celeb royalty flocked to get their hands on the latest Mina dresses. Our vintage stand grabbed the attention of every special guest, including style icon Sadie Frost, not to mention press, stylists and magazine editors from across the world.
So...Which show will we be attending next year? We can't wait to find out! |

| At the beginning of July, the very first fashion tradeshows for Autumn/Winter 2010/11 began, and Mina UK started our tour with Bread & Butter Berlin. As one of the most prestigious tradeshows in the world, the Bread & Butter show attracts a vast variety of stores, from independent boutiques to legendary department stores from across the globe. Press, magazines and industry publications flock to browse the stands of the most respected names in fashion, so it was no surprise when legendary business magazine, Drapers, stopped to visit Mina UK. After a chat, they took pictures of our stunning new season Repertoire, Effy and Lola dresses, aswell as a snap of Danielle and Stacey, our wholesale managers, who looked amazing in their Mina outfits. The images were then chosen to feature in the next issue of Drapers magazine...and we can see why! Beautiful! |

After the birth of her beautiful baby girl, Betsy, actress and TV personality, Denise Van Outen, was pictured just days later looking absolutely flawless! She took the baby for a stroll around Hampstead Heath, dressed in her favourite Mina piece, the Fay Dress. She teamed it perfectly with a smart blazer, boots and shades, while happily posing for the cameras and showing off her brand new bundle of joy. Later that afternoon, Mina HQ received a personal phone call from the lady herself, thanking us for the current season dresses we sent her as a gift during her pregnancy.
We hope Denise keeps her dresses in good condition...Baby Betsy will be raiding her wardrobe before she knows it!
